President of Azerbaijan reorganized the country's Patent Office

The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev issued an order on the reorganization of the Copyright Agency and the Patent and Trademark Office of Azerbaijan on April 20, 2018. It is reported that on the basis of these two organizations a State Intellectual Property Agency will be created.

The process of reorganization will take from 2 to 3 months. Upon completion of the reorganization process all state fees will be reviewed and amended. Meanwhile, until the reorganization is completed, current fees are valid.
