Legislation on the domain names changed in Kazakhstan

By Order of the Minister of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 354, changes have been introduced to the rules of registration, use and distribution of domain names in the space of the Kazakh segment of the Internet.

In addition to clarifying the terminology of the domain name and the domain name system, the registration rules have been amended.

• in the absence of a safety certificate (domestic or foreign one);
• when placing Internet resources on hardware and software complexes outside the territory of Kazakhstan.
